SPRINT engages Seattle Pacific University students in short-term summer international missions and service trips in partnership with local community leaders around the globe. SPRINT’s pre-trip training and post-trip debriefing processes emphasize the importance of understanding culture, partnering alongside development instead of perpetuating colonialism, and the value of a life-long integration of faith, learning and service.
This summer SPRINT will send teams to 8 countries around the world. Learn more at www.spu.edu/sprint.
In the Dominican Republic, students will place ProVector mosquito control devices and provide training for families in batey communities near Barahona, home to low-income families and marginalized Haitian immigrants. Learn more about our host, Children of the Nations, at www.cotni.org.
